Intercultural Values Gathering Brings Sri Lankan Community to the Church of Scientology in Milan

Members of Milan’s Sri Lankan community recently took part in an intercultural event at the Church of Scientology, centred on peaceful coexistence, youth participation and common values. The meeting highlighted an intercultural values event in Milan, using the common-sense moral code written by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard as a basis for discussion.

The event gave news eu commission families, community leaders and young people a space to discuss responsibility, mutual respect and the role of values in integration. The presence of young participants gave the event a forward-looking character, connecting cultural identity with civic responsibility and respect for others.

Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the European Union, the OSCE, the Council of Europe and the United Nations, said such initiatives show how shared values can build trust across cultures. Across Europe, Scientology churches, missions and volunteers carry out community initiatives focused on education, prevention and neighbourhood-level support.
